This show is extremely personal. It is personal to me. It will be personal to my guests. Hopefully it will be personal to you as well. You see, I am a cancer survivor! In the summer of 1998, I was diagnosed with what turned out to be an inoperable tumor. It was a Stage 4, Non-Hodgkins Type Lymphoma. The surgeon couldn't remove it due to it's location and told his surgical team that I wouldn't make it through the night. When I did, he brought in the best Oncologist he could find. Afterwards, my new "Cancer Doctor" told me that he had given me 6 months to live. You see, at that time, Western Medicine did not have a cure for this type of advanced cancer. I was put on a rugged regiment of experimental chemotherapy and steroids. One year later, the tumor was gone! It truly was a miracle!
This show will be about my cancer walk as well as the walk of many others who have beaten their own odds with their own diseases and burdens that they have had to bear. How we did it will hopefully teach and inspire you to be able to do the same!
None of us could have done it by ourselves. Fortunately, we didn't have to. We discovered that there are in fact..."Angles Among Us".
